All You Need Is Love #ILOVEYOU

So this morning when I woke up I had the song from the Beatles chorus playing in my head. The first thing that came to my mind was the terrific speaker I heard last night, Dr. Wayne Dyer, who was the keynote last night at the Denver Convention center for the Hay House/Mile Hi Church, I Can Do It conference.  I imagine the reason it was playing over and over in my head is that I, like all musically inclined individuals, have a nonstop music track that plays in my head.  I like to think of it as my own personal soundtrack to life.  If you are like me, then you always have music playing or you have it on your phone where you can plug in and tune out anyone you like.   Last night I tuned in and I heard Spirit talking, telling me the things that I needed to hear.  I imagine everyone probably felt the same way.

I was not surprised at all to hear a good portion of the message talking about feelings, emotions, love, hate, fear … yes, all the good ones and even some of the bad ones.  I really was able to relate with Dr. Dyer.  He is an amazing individual who was brought on this earth by accident.  He shared that his mother was raped by his father and his mother almost had an abortion.  His parents were married at the time, in case you were wondering.  Like any person who finds out someone was almost aborted before they were started it sends a shockwave of emotion through you.  He is such a magnificent guy who has changed millions of lives. I have to confess, I have never read any of his books and this is the first time I have ever heard him speak. What really intrigued me the most is his captivating way of telling stories.

He never once said in his talk that you NEED love.  I think we all want love, we think we want love, and many think we need love.  I do fully agree 100% that love is THE most powerful energy in the Universe.  Fortunately, Spirit/God/Universe gave us all the magical gift of creating this divine love within each one of us.  Spirit told me in a meditation that God is not the creator, but God is the observer.  God created an image of himself/herself and called it “man”.   It is man who creates, and it is God that watches.

Oh I do believe there are times that it appears that something, a “miracle” is an act of God. But what constitutes that “act of God”? Some people call a miracle healing an act of God. Something that is so impossible to believe it happened, HAS to be something of a higher power right?  Wrong.  I personally believe, and I have a large following of consciousness, that also believe that the body has the power to heal itself. Wow. How’s that for a shocker. Think about it for a moment, in the animal kingdom, wild life do not go to a doctor if they are sick. They also don’t poison their bodies willingly. They don’t eat genetically modified foods and they usually don’t get cancer.  Animals get hurt just like we do physically, and yet they manage to heal themselves. So why is it so out of the norm to think that we as humans, who have evolved more than animals can’t do the same thing?   A plant, who loses a leaf or breaks part of the stem will recover if the damage is not so severe.  Animals, like humans have the capability to love; to create this magical invisible energy force that can heal, protect, repair, create and manifest.  Plants also have an amazing ability to grow, with love as its driving force.

I did an experiment awhile back to see the effects of talking to a plant. With one plant I said everyday “I love you. Please grow as big as you can, blossom and bring love back into my life.”  The other plant, across the room by the window I said “I hate you. You are ugly.”  Both plants received the same amount of light, and water.  The plant that I said I love you is still alive and growing strong.  The other plant died within a week. Also note that when I expressed the words of love or hate, I also created the energy feeling that goes with those words.  So if this result happens within a week of saying these 3 words, … then imagine what it does to your pets, your friends, your family and YOUR loved ones. When was the last time you said “I love you” to someone you didn’t know? I challenge you to start saying it, feeling it, and you WILL start experiencing it.  The more love you give away, the more love you will receive.  Thank you for reading this blog. I love you.

Please share and retweet with someone you know needs to hear “I love you”.  Who knows, your kinds words could possibly heal someone.
